I have been very lucky to see crowned cranes many times in Africa, mostly on my trips to Kenya. They are often found in pairs and will jump and leap in mating dances. One of my favorite birds!
Many birds found on the continent of Africa fascinate me. One of the most elegant and beautiful are the African crowned cranes with their delicate puff crown of feathers and graceful mating dance.
