African black-footed penguins - Boulder's beach, South Africa

Beach Patrol

  • No penguin species live in the Northern hemisphere but not all are found in cold climates. The African black-footed penguin enjoys the temperate marine climate of the Cape Peninsula, often found roaming Boulder's beach or hiding in the rocks, or playing in the surf at Betty's Bay.

These little tuxedo clad birds are the African black-footed penguins, also known as jackass penguins for their braying call. They live in the aptly named Boulder's beach South Africa near the Cape Peninsula.

The framed original oil painting on canvas is AVAILABLE!
