Black rhinos are solitary, unlike the social white rhino. They have poor vision and can startle easily. One of my favorite animals, they should never be underestimated!
Moments after the photo was taken that inspired this piece, this black rhino charged our vehicle! He got to us so fast it was incredible! We were fine, and he trotted off with his tail in the air warning us not to follow!
