Kirstenbosch botanical gardens is a true jewel in South Africa. The national flower of the country is in the protea flower group. While not the national bird, the sun bird is indeed a treasure as well!
After much patience, I was able to capture some photos of this very busy sun bird perched for a moment on the national flower of South Africa, the protea.
