Oil on linen.

8" x 10"

  • I have watched the weaver birds in fascination. They literally stitch together nests of grasses and twigs, intricately weaving each blade. Different species have different shape nests, some in trees, some near water like this little bird who was building in reeds of water plants.

Weaver birds are fascinating. This little male was in the early planning and building stages for his nest. Piece by piece he will labor and then hope his mate approves!

This piece is available as a limited edition of 50 stretched canvas prints, hand signed and numbered.

It may also be purchased as open edition prints on paper, metal or acrylic.

The framed original oil painting on canvas is AVAILABLE!
