Weaver bird - Kenya

  • I have watched the weaver birds in fascination. They literally stitch together nests of grasses and twigs, intricately weaving each blade. Different species have different shape nests, some in trees, some near water like this little bird who was building in reeds of water plants.

This little male was in the early planning and building stages for his nest. Piece by piece he will labor and then hope his mate approves!

The framed original oil painting on canvas is AVAILABLE!

Please inquire if you are interested in print options.
