Red-eyed tree frogs are one of the few frog species that can walk and climb. When sleeping in a leaf with their eyes closed they are all green and easy to miss. Once those red eye POP open, wow! This painting was based on experiences I had in Costa Rica observing these fascinating little amphibians.
