  • Moving to California has given me many opportunities to watch and enjoy marine mammals in their native habitats. While not uncommon, it isn't every trip that one sees dolphins like this! We were surrounded by Pacific white-sided dolphins playing in the wake and zooming past the boat as well as Common dolphins and Risso's dolphins.

    On a whale watch in Monterey Bay, we were lucky enough to be surrounded by hundreds of dolphins, including this Pacific white-sided dolphin, playing in the waves and the wave of the boat.
